“Nande?” is pretty easy to say in English: “Why?”
However, sometimes it will be better to say, “Why not?”
“なんで？”と英語で言うのはとっても簡単ですね：“Why?”

If the sentence is positive, you can use “why.” A few examples:
肯定文の時には“Why”を使います。例文として：
- I like to watch horror movies. Why?

However, if the sentence is negative, you should say “why not.” A few examples:

Hint: “Why not?” is also used to say, “Sure!” when asked to do something. Example:
